League Members past and present were on hand to watch the crummy Lions lose their home opener to the Niners. Best part of the day (as it usually is with any Lions game) was the tailgate! Old stories about Bob Willnus, Anthony Gose's pitching career, and the fate of Whit Merrifield were all discussed. Good seeing these guys!!
P.S. I still think a "Schmidt and Schmidt" ownership team would work well in this league. They would get the fun of the draft, and only have to play half the games each. Plus a chance to re-build a winner. Win-win for both!
